Did El Financiero (Mexico) Just Get Less Substantially Less Intelligent?

Wayback Machine search today on the El Financeiro Web site.

A noteworthy and awfully sudden absence from the Web site of  El Financiero (Mexico): Its FT-style “intelligence unit” section.

It is no longer listed on the front page of the newspaper’s Web site.

That section is daily destination of mine.

A Google search on site:www.elfinanciero.com.mx “Unidad de Inteligencia y Análisis Estratégico”  now yields only 43 results.

Why?

This is a long-running feature.

Content seems to have disasppeared from the permanent record without explanation or prior notice.

Some items I have translated in the past from the section:

Possible ratfink alert.

Clicking through to Wayback Machine archives of the newspaper’s for about a dozen dates so far has uniformly yielded the above. Has El Financiero been lobotomized?
